I use a shipping rate for Canada which is the same price no matter which game you buy. The Nintendo DS game that you bought happens to be extremely light.For 95%+ of the games, the shipping price makes sense.However, some games are heavier and some games are lighter than the average - so there is an aspect of fluctuation that I account for. But you're right about the total price, that's what matters, I also currently have "Best Offer" on - so you can always make an offer to get a better price.

Cool vehicles, great graphics, gameplay variety.
This game kind of reminds me of Halo and also some strategic elements, like The Outfit (2006). There's so much variety, a lot of cool vehicles, and beautiful graphics.

Step down from Warhawk
I bought this thinking a sequel to the legendary Warhawk would build on its predecessors successes and improve on its shortcomings. Unfortunately Starhawk is not the game it could have been. First off, the single player campaign is dull and repetitive right from the get go. No climax or game changing events just the same capture and defend objectives over and over again. I know it's supposed to be a tutorial for the multiplayer but damn was it bleak. Now, the multiplayer is actually quite good on its own, however when comparing it to Warhawk it doesn't quite deliver in the same way. This new mech/hawk mechanic is cool at first but soon you realize that the mechs are cumbersome and not really that fun. The hawk is fast and fun to fly around but when engaging others in dogfight, missiles are ... Overall this game is okay and considering I bought it for just shy of $10 it's a good value. But if you're trying to decide between Warhawk and Starhawk, the former is the clear choice in my opinion. Ps: if you buy a used copy of this game (which I did) you have to purchase an additional $10 "online pass" which is the biggest load of bull I've ever heard of. This game is nothing without its multiplayer element. And charging an extra ten bucks on top of the purchase of the game is just plain money grabbing by Sony. Shame. I hope this online pass crap is eradicated from the face of the earth forever. Cheers.

Great Game! As a Warhawk veteran, Starhawk called for my attention. Single player is great as a simple long run tutorial on how to maneuver in every situation, but good story nonetheless. The best, of course, the multiplayer! Be it Coop (1 to 4 players) defending wave after wave of enemies creates a great bond for friends or strangers to work together. And the whole multiplayer up to 32 people is a chaotic, fun challenge! Many modes to play and very different ways to play! It's hard to get used to at first, but with practice and help from the Starhawkthegame.com forum, you'll be up to any challenge in no time! Definitely recommend for anyone wanting a big multiplayer game to have fun and get hooked up for many hours and days straight! ;) "Just try to keep up!"Great Game! Fun Online MP!
This game has great online multiplayer, just be prepared to respawn alot as some players are REALLY good at this. The campaign is a little weak but it serves as a perfect introduction to the controls and situations you encounter in MP. The ability to build your own bases/buildings means this game has high replay value and being 3rd person shooter its a nice break from the more common 1st person online shooters. The controls are easy to learn and it also has co-op/split screen mode too!This game has great online multiplayer, just be prepared to respawn alot as some players are REALLY good at this. Okay, I went a little overboard so I'm changing my review. Starhawk is a great game and will definetly go on my list of favorites. The multiplayer is the highlight of the game, so obviously it's awesome. In second place is the splitscreen survival/defense mode, which can be played solo, online, or splitscreen co-op. The singleplayer is in last place, with an O.K. storyline, but it tells you exactly where your enemies will spawn and does not prepare you well for the multiplayer. Overall, I give starhawk a 5/5 for fast paced gameplay and the unique Build n' Battle system which lets you change the course of the game with the press of a button.
