Arrived safely. It did several attempts to make the battery charge. After plugging in the charger the battery charge light would go out after minute. But vacuum would only run for 30 seconds or so. This took about 10 attempts to get the battery to charge.
This happens when the BMS cannot charge the batteries because there so out of balance. I’ve had this a numerous time with new batteries.
I repair Dyson’s for a living.
Nothing wrong with the battery, probably been a while since it was made.

Item arrived a little late, but they kept me updated. Well boxed and seems to be working fine. I trial it out after the first overnight change and it lasted the whole house (4 bedrooms) including the stairs. I cannot see Sony anywhere on it as advertised, but happy so far and very good price. Yes would recommend.
