I completed Last of Us 2 ..... the game was so good I had to buy and play Last of us. Just as good as the second. Strong story line continues in both. Fully immersive gameplay. It is a struggle to put down the controller. It’s like watching a compelling tv series , wanting to see what is around the next corner! Fully recommend both games. I would play in order given the choice.

I loved this game when it came out on the PS3 and was overjoyed to find out it had been rereleased on the PS4. I was ever so slightly disappointed because I misunderstood the meaning of remastered and misinterpreted it as better! So assumed the graphics might be better but they are the same as the original release. But to sure but maybe the overall performance of the game has been slightly enhanced or it could just be the enhanced performance of the PS4? Anyway thoroughly enjoyed playing it again and shall now have to start replaying it on the more difficult levels to provide more of a challenge. A fantastic and engaging back story for an incredibly well thought out game! Looking forward to playing "The Last of Us 2" in the near future but not yet ready to burn such a big hole in my pocket!Read full review

Nothing original or particularly challenging about the game. ( I didn’t even die once on the second play through). Fairly basic inventory management too. Some of the main story “twists” were very predictable. I suspect that what made some people rave about the game were the tedious pathos filled cut scenes. No “play again on a harder level” desire for me.
