I looked at a few different offers for this specific Build a Bear and just basically prayed that it would turn out okay. The item is very clean, looks good but I can see some small minor pre-love indicators naminly a couple of loose threads, a label is lightly torn, and the back of the toy where they tie it seems fairly stretched. But my daughter absolutely loves it and it goes with her Chase one. I just wish Build-a-beat didn't discontinue the set cause I want to own them all!

Good value for money. A few issues - some of the holes for the dowels were not the correct size, so when pushing the dowels in the pine split around the dowel area, but thankfully not too noticeable. Not difficult to put together (under 1 hour with an electric drill/screwdriver), feels sturdy and looks great when finished for the price.
