    Does what its supposed to

    A replacement foil and cutter for the razor, undo the old, put the new one on. Then - important - use a paperclip to reset the shaver's clean memory (on the shaver itself) or it won't do the cleaning cycle in the shaver recharger. The foil pattern is different to the old one I had, but doesn't seem to be wildly different in performance.

    Take care of it to get the best life.

    There is no choice but to buy this but the foil could be more robust. You need to be carful and not clean around the ends of the foils. They have a step at the end which in the end starts to break. So I would recommend but you need to be careful to avoid having to prematurely replace. I think Braun recommend changing every 18 months; I usually go for 2 years but have had to replace a couple because of premature failure of the foil rather than wear.

    Original and best

    much better than the replacement 5 units that Braun now sell. better foil pattern and smaller blade width makes for a much better cut. So glad I found some of these out there... (Will be buying up some more!)

    But branded, alternatives not good.

    I bought non branded through Wish which was an inferior quality build and cut/performance. Although brand is definitely the way to go it’s overpriced as you are a captivated audience.

    Real Improvement

    Replaced foil and cutter as current one 2 years old. Definitely worth doing as shaving time is reduced as well as face getting less of a scraping.
