This press comes requiring assembly and is not a great fit as the profile of the channels varied and I had to use square washers to pack it out, this made the rigidity far better. Once assembled I realised that it could have done with diagonal bracing to the floor stands (not a major problem just an improvement), and the object platform needed spacers on the bolts to stop it flapping about or being over tightened so that it wouldn't adjust. These I made out of some scrap 22mm copper tube. The platform width Is narrow compared to a more professional press but with spacers and packers I pressed out and in three wheel bearings with relative ease (2 fronts on a rover 75 and 1 front on a freelander). The other thing to consider is that there's no pressure gauge so care has to be taken not to overload the hydrolics or the press frame.
Overall I'm very happy with the press. Its functional and at the price that I paid it's great value too. I hope this helps
