    Livaeco™ Viscose is a natural cellulosic fibre made from yarn derived from wood pulp sourced from certified sustainably managed forests. Livaeco™ Viscose is a breathable and absorbent fabric that makes a great alternative to traditional fabrics like viscose and cotton that have a much greater impact on the environment. The production of Livaeco™ Viscose uses less water than conventional viscose, emits a lower level of carbon emissions, and helps maintain forest cover. 

     

    FSC Viscose

    This item is made using Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) viscose. Viscose is a rayon fibre made from natural sources such as wood and agricultural products that are regenerated into cellulose fibres. While viscose is classified as a natural fibre, it can be extremely harmful to the environment if it isn’t produced sustainably. The FSC is a non-governmental organisation dedicated to responsibly and sustainably managing forests to support zero deforestation and the preservation of biodiversity. Their 10 principles ensure that environmentally appropriate, socially beneficial, and economically viable standards are met in the production of FSC viscose.
