How to select parameters?
Power (PWR/SPH)
Power or sphere refers to the refractive power of the contact lens. Look for a plus (+) or minus (-) sign. Note that an equals sign (=) may be used in place of a minus sign.
- dioptres are for problems with near vision (far-sightedness)
+ dioptres are for problems with distance vision (near-sightedness)
Curvature (BC)
The base curve describes the curvature of the contact lens surface, i.e. how well the lens fits the shape of your eye.
Diameter (DIA)
The diameter is the width of the contact lens (measured in millimeters). It is not recommended to select a new diameter size without first consulting your optician. Diameter impacts the fit, comfort and functionality of your lenses.
Cylinder (CYL)
The cylinder measurement is used for the correction of astigmatism. It is a negative value that corrects curvature of the cornea.
Cylinder Axis (AX)
The cylinder axis measurement is used for the correction of astigmatism. The value ranges from 0° - 180° and determines the exact position of corneal curvature.
Addition (ADD)
Addition is the difference between the dioptric value for distance vision and the dioptric value for near vision. It indicates the magnifying power in multifocal lenses.

The innovative monthly contact lenses are intended for daily wear and can be worn for up to three months, following approval from an eye specialist. The actual replacement period, which can range from two weeks up to three months, is determined by a contactologist based on each individual’s needs.
Soflens 38 are an alternative to Optima FW, and transitioning between the two models does not require an optician consultation.
Soflens 38 contact lenses in plus powers have been discontinued. We are selling the remaining units we still have in stock.

If Bausch and last lombs monthly contact lenses have 6 contact lenses in a box shall we use it for only 1 month or for 6 months ?
