The Vans Skate Half Cab celebrates 30 years in 1992. With just scissors and duct tape, skaters invented the world's best skate shoe. The Half Cab, the skate shoe they created, was born when they cut their shoes down to create something that would push skateboarding in the direction they desired.
Skaters are still pushing the limits of skateboarding three decades after its inception. Vans' famous gum rubber sole has been redesigned with a SickStick compound, an internal heel shank, and a two-part foxing that features heightened board contact. This new sole offers more grip, boardfeel, support and durability. Skate Classics Half Cab '92 has been completely redesigned to meet the needs of skaters.
