Bought a Surface Laptop 3 from seller, it arrived as described and in good condition. Noticed just 1-2 days after arrival that they increased their discount from 10% to 15% so politely wrote to ask if they had any price matching or if I could return as unwanted at my expense and buy again. 4 eBay messages, never got a reply. Found out it's because they blocked my account, just for asking this - what would I do if I needed warranty later? Disgusting way to handle a genuine, honest enquiry.

Compact, powerful, a joy to use
I wanted to upgrade my MacBook Pro 15" 2013 laptop for something more recent as my current one cannot be upgraded beyond Big Sur MacOS. I can't afford/justify the price of the newer models, and as I already have a USBC Thunderbolt docking station, the lack of traditional ports makes little difference to me. The laptop is excellent, if you can find one that has been well cared for then go for it. I love the power/touch id, it's really quick and very reliable. The touchbar is OK, you can configure it by applications to simply show functions keys, which I have done for Microsoft Visual Studio code. The screen is awesome, but then the screen on the 15" MacBook was already excellent, I can't say I notice the extra size, physically it's about the same footprint (size/weight) as the older model. ... However this one comes packed with a much more powerful CPU and also has a dedicated GPU. I chose this model to get the best bang per buck. I didn't want to get the previous 15" model with the scissor keys issue. The keys on this model are excellent, probably not quite as much travel as on my old MacBook, but almost exactly the same as my Apple keyboard. The trackpad on this laptop is absolutely huge, and is really nice. Unless you absolutely need the extra power in the latest M chip models for intense development tasks (such as graphics/video work), save yourself a whole heap of money and get one of these

Perfect 16" macbook with Intel cpu
The perfect laptop for work and movies on a 16" screen. I7 CPU and 16GB of ram are sufficient for most of the tasks. If you have high requirements for some games, choose the version with i9 and better GPU.

Great laptop but heavyweight
It's a high performance laptop and a good quality build. It heats up when I connect to external monitors using HDMI cables. This seems to be a common issue for Mac Pro. I'm now using USB-C to HDMI cables and put a wooden pad underneath the laptop to let the heat out. This has reduced the temperature to an acceptable level.
