    Solid lens - nice and wide - nice and sharp!

    I especially like the excellent edge to edge sharpness AND the focussing ring in manual mode has just enough resistance to stay in position and not drift off it's setting when removing your hand or adjusting zoom etc. Really pleased with this purchase!

    Excellent value for money ultr-wide lens

    Not the fastest lens but ideal for landscape and tripod work. Has a plastic mounting point, but seems pretty durable. I use of an cropped sensor mirrorless camera and the field of view is huge! Great for ultra-wide shot and interesting close-ups. Image stabilisation is great, especially in combination with internal digital stabilisation.

    Great value wide angle zoom lense

    Completed my set of lenses. For occasional still use, this STM is light and great value and I managed to secure an ebay discount as well so really pleased. I would recommend a USM lens for video work. Delivery speed was amazing.

    Fantastic Ultra Wide Angle

    If you are on a crop sensor Canon body and looking for an Ultra Wide angle lens then this really is fantastic value for money Images are sharp, and comparable to some much higher end glass. There is softness in the corners at 10mm but 14mm onwards its not an issue The Image Stabilisation is handy for handheld low light work although it's always best to use a tripod where possible. Saying that inside museums or dark environments where tripods arent permitted i managed to obtain sharp images at 1/10secs For this price you wont get a lens built like a tank and it doesnt feel as solid as the Sigma 10-20 but its half the price and in my opinion a much better performer - the only concern i had was the plastic camera mount as opposed to a metal one At the end of the day you won't feel cheated ...

    Good Value, Great for Video.

    I got this primarily for video, capturing a wide shot of a wall in a room to teach Guitar. Does this very well. 18mm zoom is similar to the standard canon lens shipped with the 70D (which I use with this lens). Vignetting not a major problem. Very Quiet for filming due to the STM. Good value for money compared to other lenses. I would buy another if it broke (and they really do - broke the plastic mount on my 18-55mm and it only works intermittently) so if you exchange lenses often and travel about, be extra careful!
