cheap and cheerful but that's about it
Not a great Blu-ray player, does not play a lot of old blu-rays even tho you update the player, plays dvd's fine so if you can get one cheap I would reccomend but don't pay over the odds for it.

Samsung BD-P1580 Blu-Ray Player
I bought this on Ebay, as an ex display unit. When it arrived, it was just like brand new, and came with every thing in the box. The picture quality is superb with Blu Ray titles....and the upscaler works extremely well with dvd and Divx titles....nearly as good as the Blu Ray titles.This is the best upscaler I have ever seen and owned...10/10 Blu Ray load times are very quick...10/10 The player is very easy to set up....and the firmware can be upgraded with a usb dongle, if you dont have Internet access near to the player.I did a usb firmware update with no problems....10/10 The Audio is good...but I dont think that its as good as it should be....I use an external Yamaha 5.1 amp, with optical inputs, but find the sound from the Samsung to be just OK...And I do like my audio to be ...
