Bought a similar charger earlier this year to replace the original black and Decker dumb charger but have moved house since then and couldn't find it. Ordered this one plus a spare battery and the day before they arrived the "lost" one turned up. Oh well. I now have two batteries and two chargers so no excuse for either not being charged.
These chargers are much better than the B&D charger as you didn't know when it was fully charged. The new battery lasts much longer than the original too.
