The size does make it sound huge, but obviously includes the legs, so if in doubt - go larger. We were expecting a monster and it was just pretty big. It is stuffed but turns up vacuum packed - which was disappointing (but sensible) as we had wanted to see the postman struggle along the road with a 2m goose shaped parcel ;) My son is delighted with wonderful cushion / toy and it is very cute
