Fantastic Sound Isolation & Quality
Best pair of in-ear headphones I have ever owned. Comes with a nice set of accessories - carrying pouch, three rubber eartips, three comply foam eartips, an eartip cleaning tool, and the cable. The cable itself is great - detachable from the earphones themselves (which is good for longevity, as the cable is often first to fail on earphones), and is kevlar reinforced, with a right-angle jack for durability. The cable is designed to go over the top of the ear and down behind, and has a small mouldable section which you shape to your ears to hold them in place. The earphones themselves are ergonomic, and fit nice and snug in the area around your ear canal. With so many different tip designs available, it's easy to get a good fit, and as a result the isolation is the best I have experienced ... Best pair of in-ear headphones I have ever owned. This means that bass is good (but never overbearing), and outside noises are kept out (watch out if you use these for running!). The sound quality is also well above average for the price range (~£90 at time of purchase). I am no audiophile, but I appreciate a good pair of headphones (I normally use the Beyerdynamic Custom One Pro), and these are better than I expected. The highs are decently crisp (if not as sparkly as some higher end models), the mids clear, and the bass deep and decently tight/punchy. Overall, I think these are the perfect earphone sweet spot for me - they are not too expensive to be deathly afraid of losing them or damaging them, they are very secure when running/on the go (due to the cable design), and the sound quality is as good as you'll ever realistically need on the go. The only downside? Well it would have been nice to have an inline mic, but I can't complain too much. You won't regret getting these.

These headphones are very good at sound isolation as long as they seal well. The Bass response then comes alive. Not overkill but a good balance. The over-ear clips are a bit annoying by having to adjust them everytime you take the headphone off and put them back on. I have many musician friends who use these and are impressed at the value for money they are and are only surpassed by bespoke ear channel phones costing many hundreds of pounds. The selection of rubber buds and the ability to replace the cords are a positive feature.These headphones are very good at sound isolation as long as they seal well. Great for motorcycle riding
I've had a Sena bluetooth headset for a couple of years and have used the helmet-mounted speakers for listening to music around town but they've never been any good for anything above 40mph or so, especially when it's windy. I bought these because they seem to be the go-to earphones for motorcyclists but wasn't expecting the results I got: they stayed in comfortably when I put my helmet over (and are held in by my helmet so they stay nice and snug) and at motorway speeds (and above ...) I could only hear music without any wind noise at all. That's not to say that they block out 100% of wind noise on their own (they are admittedly less effective than regular earplugs for this) but, combining their physical sound-filtering qualities with some reasonably loud music, I had the most relaxing ... After a long ride they were a little less comfortable than my custom-made ear plugs (obviously) but not prohibitively so - I could easily wear these for hours on end and any minor discomfort is absolutely worth it for the ability to drown out all the wind noise and relax to some music on long rides. It's easy to see why so many motorcyclists recommend these.

Nice entry level IEM!
Great set of in ear monitors. Clear sound, plenty of volume. As other reviewers have said. Lacking a little low bass. I've an £80 set of Sennheiser standard in ear headphones and the bass is bigger, but they don't have the power of the Shure 215 regarding volume. I'm happy with them. Added bonus. With the Shure IEM's you can choose to run two sources of audio (or communication) via the detachable drivers, if you buy a second cable.Great set of in ear monitors. Clear sound, plenty of volume.
