Perfectly functioning on an Intel system.
Good: The modules (non-ECC, unbuffered) are fully compatible to my Intel system (Core2 Quad). This is higly appreciated since I’ve struggled a lot to find online such items. Usually such memory modules (say presently produced KVR800D2N6/4G based on Hynix not anymore Elpida chips) are compatible just to AMD systems. About the RAM speed difference. My system is not overclocked. Before the upgrade I had 4GB (2x2GB) DDR2-6400. Now I have 8GB (2x4GB) DDR2-5300. I see no decreased system response speed using my new 8GB RAM. Working RAM
After extensive research in which my only criteria was a) does it fit the spec and b) is it the cheapest I can find, I bought this item. I can only confirm my research on both accounts - it works and it was the cheapest I could find. Unfortunately I have no way of assessing it's other characterists such a speed benchmark, but if my slim criteria is good enough for your own needs, then go for it!
