Thank goodness tfor this seller. I bought the same amount of teabags from another source originally...and they never arrived! I had to go to the trouble of contacting ebay, four calls inhad to make, each tome to a different country and eventually after lots of tome and trouble ebay resolved the issue...previous seller never provided the goods. So, this seller was more expensive than the first but the upshot was a very quick and efficient delivery. Thanks for sorting this out arcady, full marks

    Alf Garnett what a star

    Warren Mitchell excels as the outspoken bigot Alf Garnett from London. The chemistry between the characters absolutely works, and leads to several hysterical situations. Everything in Alf's life (in his mind) is intentionally geared to making his life miserable and torturous. Sit back and enjoy Alf unravel his twisted views in lengthy hilarious sermons against the system and the establishment. But not against the Queen, oh no, well one of them anyway. The humor is dated in some ways, but those who are entertained by less than politically correct comedy and language will be completely satisfied. I couldn't stop laughing all the way through the episodes. The Dvd's menus are easy to navigate, each episode is roughly 30 mins, so you should be able to fit a fair few in during an evenings ...

    In this crazy age when woke folk are all the rage it is wonderful to have some great none woke entertainment. Gloriously funny in an age when humor is often conspicuously absent and free speech is frowned upon. Buy this and enjoy.

    Brilliant

    Great memories of the great performances performed by Warren Mitchell, Una Stubbs and Dandy Nichols of these characters. I actually prefer this to the original.

    A BBC gem that will still be seen many years from now.

    This series was a product of its time and would never be remade today on racial or misology grounds. What you have to bear in mind is the show was designed for you to laugh with them NOT against them. The script today is just as relevant today as it has always been in fact more so. The show was so popular that Holland ,Germany and U.S.A. created their own versions of the show the German version being very interesting as Alf looked like Hitler. This is a BBC gem which I think will never date.
