I think common to a number of other used items, the Dyson I received did not have a very good battery. Always a challenge with rechargeable items. Hopefully the next one will have a decent battery.

You are using the Dyson in MAX/Booster mode, The machine is design to be use on Normal/Extended mode. If you buyer a new machine today and run it on MAX mode you will only get 1-2min MAX run time
