The item arrived in a damaged box. While apparently new, as described, it was missing the two-part reducer filter that was supposed to be included. In addition, the lever closure does not work: the espresso maker is locked to its base and cannot be removed. The seller does not respond in any efficient way to my attempts to reach them (only asked for pictures of the problems, which I immediately provided) and has not suggested any course of action. I cannot recommend this seller.
