I looked up on which magazine. To see which was best iron to buy, when mine broken. This was the one recommend. I am very pleased with it so far 2 months in. It's has a large footprint. But it's not as heavy as it's size looks. It's quick to heat up. And has lots of options to us for different materials. Has a very nice long lead. Which makes all the difference. I find it easy to use. It glides easy over clothes. And has a pointed edge to get into corner of jeans. And shirts. Still pleased with it. I hope it lasts for many years.

My old iron, a Tefal Virtuose which was 18 years old and great, started tripping the breaker so got this after checking reviews. I don't know why it needs 50% more power as performance is no better. Worst thing is fabrics, especially soft cotton, stick to the soleplate when you lift the iron off causing creases. Steam is only available at the maximum heat setting restricting use for more delicate materials. My thumb catches the large rotary heat setting wheel so need to keep resetting. Cable is long but not flexible and the iron is not designed to wrap it around the handle or heal. Not impressed.

Though before, it asks me is it light weight, for me I would say not, but that ain't a bad thing but it's not like a concrete slab either, as you don't have to do put much pressure on clothes, than some other machines(Iron), be good if someone is suffering arthritis, and for the money you can't go wrong... No hassle getting creases out, especially jeans and it's very user friendly I noticed when the wife used it on coat, after it been washed, didn't even attempt to burn, as I have noticed other irons do so in similar clothing in the past or stick, that the worse thing, but this iron just glides beautifully... If you use it correctly, read the manual, and you will have no problems at all....With other Irons it feels like a chore!!!, not this 1, I don't fear now of getting the iron out, now doing so is an absolute joy.. And before you know it, it's finished, and if you play music on the back ground, well, I'm in heaven, like the song, anyways need do go, and get the music on, know what I'm saying, now get Ironing people, decrease them creases, power to the Iron..... :) p's, apart from all the blah-blah above, try 1 out, you won't be disappointed, and the feel to it also, grip wise, easy functions, etc... 11 out 10 :) bye..... 😉 and another thing, I am only a paying customer, have no contacts to the supplier making or anything, just so you know, cheers, now where is my yacht, lol 😜Read full review

Good steam output. I took a chance and used the vertical steam function on my velvet jacket, with happy results. Heats up in no time and runs smoothly over various fabrics. Doesn't make me love ironing, but beats the hell out of my old Phillips. I've had it out only twice (and only with distilled water), but so far, so good.

Brilliant iron. Steam shot is fantastic! Love the extra safety feature of iron turning itself off if not moved for a few minutes.
