Ghostbusters: The Video Game for the Nintendo DS game console draws inspiration from the Ghostbusters film; and although the film was first released nearly twenty years ago, many of the film's cast members were involved in the game's production. These include Bill Murray, Dan Akroyd, Harold Ramis, and Ernie Hudson. The plot of Ghostbusters: The Video Game is set in 1991, which is two years after the events of Ghostbusters II. In this DS version of the game you will take control of the four original Ghostbusters as you do battle with ghosts and ghouls from the films, including Vigo, Slimer, Gozer and the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man. The mission-based Ghostbusters The Video Game will engage you in the testing task of trapping and catching ghosts, and includes extremely detailed environments.
