    Vera Lynn is very special for England...the album is so disappoint​ing

    It occurs to me that the new producer is insensitive to the glory Vera represented. The first time we hear Vera sing the chorus of White Cliffs of Dover, she should be heard solo, not with a harmony voice however sung ....these songs are so important for England, for posterity, and respect is absent for the material.

    Memory Lane

    This CD is a perfect gift for those who remember the songs of Vera Lynn and her era. A beautiful tribute to the enduring qualities and endurance of a remarkable artist and a special human being.

    The great Vera Lynn but but anywhere near her best.

    I love Vera Lynns recordings. But these are mostly old recordings - her voice was at its absolute best in the 1960's and 70's. And who needs the karaoke songs (they are NOT duets). Finally, 'Sailing' was not released as it is not good. Vera can sing almost anything - but not this song. Also was it a rehersal version?
