Got this for my Dads tool box to take on the canals incase of emergancy flooding so he has the ability to cut tree branches to prop the narrowboat out when moored to prevent rising water from floating the narrowboat over onto the towpath, keeps it a set distance out. With all the flooding of late it seems a good precaution. Plus it can help remove any bits of tree branch that gets jammed in the propeller as well.
