    Good value, brilliant for audiobooks.

    I bought this to listen to audiobooks. The sound quality is very good, and I'm delighted with the 'auto resume' feature. The only reason it doesn't get five stars is that the buttons are too small and too close together. Apart from that it's great value for money and I would definitely buy another.

    Expensive to use

    Does what it says on the description and is good for talking books, but it is a high user of Battery power, and it does not like Rechargeable Batteries, I Do not use it for playing music, So either I have a faulty machine or if the norm, I would not recommend this Denver DMP-389. My New fully charged 2400 Uniross Rechargeables lasted two discs and on Holiday I had to Purchase some Expensive Duracel Batteries. Fitted two at a Cost of £2 and they managed a book approx. 12discs (hours) This info should be obtainable at purchase... Oldbowler34

    Good player for the money

    I bought this specifically for audio books and am pleased with the auto resume and sound quality. Instructions easy to follow. Seems to be a good player for the money. Yet to use this for very long so can`t comment on battery usage, design fault---buttons too close together so difficult for "older" fingers.

    Great Resume button feature

    I bought this for my sight impaired friend to listen to the Bible which he has on mp3 cds and he loves the resume function, so when he turns off the player and back on it resumes where he last listened, invaluable to a person who cannot see.
