Ideal speakers for a small studio
The quality of sound reproduction from such small speakers is really fantastic. I have a small studio set up in my conservatory which is not great acoustically. Prior to buying my new speakers from Absolute Music in Bournemouth. I was playing my music through my Peavey guitar amplifier. It was an online purchase which was very fairly priced on eBay and they arrived quick smart. Chris from Absolute Music was a real help. These speakers are crystal clear with good bass reproduction at the flat setting. I haven't felt the need to play with the equalizer settings on the speakers. An absolutely mint product for the price
I'd be surprised if you can beat this for overall performance vs cost. True, you wouldn't be able to use them for a full club/pub set-up but they are perfect for home parties. I have them connected to my turntables in the lounge and you get full clear sound throughout the range and with far more bass than I was expecting from something so small. If you're looking for decent performance for little cost then you can stop searching. I'd be surprised if you can beat this for overall performance vs cost. stylish and good sounding speakers
They look and sound great. Actually sound not much different than what i had with my old sandstrom speakers but i wonder if its my bad ears or just sandstrom had really good speakers? Either way very happy with these.

useful good sounding little active monitor speakers.
For the money these little speakers are amazing. The point of a monitor speaker is to show detail. These little boxes do just that. The only downside...the volume knob has a little mark to show volume. It is actually so small and neat it's hard to see. Not a big deal. I painted it with a bit of nail varnish so I can see it. They are surprisingly powerful. They are small enough to be used either side of my mac monitor like a little pair of computer speakers. I was looking at a range of speakers up to £500 and took a chance on these. I am delighted with the result at a mere £85. I am a twice grammy award winning sound engineer.
