The SSD arrived on packed well - my laptop identified it correctly although could not see the pre-loaded windows 10 so I had to download it on the USB stick first from the Microsoft website (might be the problem with my 13yr old laptop or me doing something wrong) - the seller provided the windows code separately in a message - overall I am happy - everything is working now

Many thanks for your feedback. Am glad that you managed to sort out the issue you were having. However, as I've clearly mentioned in my listing & given the fact that your laptop is 13 yrs old, you should've had a Windows preloaded drive with LEGACY boot that supports older laptops (<2010), not UEFI boot as I normally supply. so if you had contacted me earlier, I could've supplied your drive with LEGACY boot and all those unnecessary steps would've been avoided, like most of the others have!
