Soaker hose used in greenhouse.
We regularly go away for 7-10 days on holiday with our caravan, found keeping the plants watered in the greenhouse is a problem. Tried cheap plastic hoses with holes pierced regularly didn't work very well. So decided to try a soaker hose to see if this would be any better. The answer is definitely yes, solved our problem. Only quibble is when unrolling in order for it to lay flat, about 2 metres from the end a kink occurred, when I tried to straighten it out, the hose snapped apart. So lost a little of the water length. Makes watering a breeze
Another great accessory from Hozelock which makes the job of watering in warm weather simple. I use the soaker hose for watering a raised veg bed which tends to dry out very quickly, I can leave it dripping overnight and the soil will not become waterlogged. Highly recommended for veg gardens or any new planting which is just establishing
