So Glad I Bought This Tascam DR40X...
Absolutely brilliant, virtually a studio in your hand, so many features that are actually useful, rather than cheap gimmicks, everything a budding or professional recordist could want in such a small portable package, mine is currently being used with a matched pair of Rode M5 mix's, with superb sound quality, connected to my DSLR, in effect making an ideal pocket sized recording kit.
