Former stand-up comic Tim Allen got his big break as Tim the 'Tool Man' Taylor on this popular 1990s family sitcom. HOME IMPROVEMENT revolves around the career and family life of an average, but likeable handyman and car enthusiast who hosts a local home-maintenance show called 'Tool Time'. The sitcom's humour comes from Tim's squabbles with his wife Jill (Patricia Richardson), and his three sons: Mark, Randy, and Brad (Taran Noah Smith, Jonathan Taylor Thomas, and Zachary Ty Brian), and his mishaps on and off the set of 'Tool Time'. Other recurring characters include Tim's flannel-clad 'Tool Time' co-host Al (Richard Karn), elusive neighbour Wilson (Earl Hindman), and Lisa (Pamela Anderson), the sultry female sidekick on Tim's television show. Running for eight seasons from 1991 through 1999, HOME IMPROVEMENT was very popular among family audiences, who appreciated the show's moral core, as well as its amusing take on marriage and parenting. This release includes every episode from the show's highly successful second season.

Best Family Comedy!
I first got into the Home Improvement show about 10/11 years ago when it featured on Channel 4 on a Thursday evening. Being a DIY and gadget nut (just like Toolman Tim) I quickly made it a must watch not to be missed programme The series is great family viewing for young and old alike. There is always a moral message generated by Tim Allen's antics and his seeking help from over the fence neighbour Wilson! Sadly the series finished on Channel 4 but was shown on BSkyB, because of my location I was unable to receive BSkyB so decided to purchase the DVDs. Home improvement is now out on dvd! Season features all the episodes from 1195-6 so thats quite alot! This dvd will keep you laughing and stuck to your tv set in no time!

THIS IS THE 2ND IN THE 'HOME IMPROVEMENT' SEASONS AND IS IN MY VIEW AS ALL OF THEM IS FANTASTIC! LOVE TIM ALLEN AND HE TRULY IS AT HIS BEST IN THIS WONDERFUL SERIES. I CAN'T FAULT IT LOVE THEM ALL!! IF YOU ENJOY A GOOD LAUGH THEN THIS IS DEFINITELY ONE FOR YOU! ONLY WISH THEY WERE STILL MAKING THEM!

What a programme! The wonderful Mr Tim 'Binford' Taylor and his suffering family, give an insight into the real US family setup. Nearly 20 years old now, it's great to be able to relive the fun of this know-it man. I believe there are 9 series, I have the first 3 so upcoming trip to the USA will result in the buying of the rest. Ideal winter viewing I feel. First class DVDs!
