Bought a laptop, it smelled like a freshly painted wall. Touch sensor didn't work. Turned out they just sprayed a layer of paint over it to hide the scratches and wear spots. Really poor, silly "refurbishment" (quite literally). Fingerprint sensor didn't work, touchpad was glitching, the paint smells, very smudgy. Spent couple of hours to clean it with rubbing alcohol, as I needed the laptop urgently and didn't care about the looks.

We are sorry you are unhappy with your laptop; however, it is clearly stated that we do refurb some laptops by repainting them should it be required. As per any refurbishment this would be to remove any marks / scratches from wear and tear. The laptop seems in very good condition and so far I'm very happy with it. The packaging it came in was perfect and using Parcelforce meant that it was undamaged rather than some parcels that have arrived by courier companies which have been very beaten up. Seems great value for what I paid and I'm looking forward to using it more. I've just had to contact the supplier to as a question, got through straight away and the question was answered quickly, so good customer service.
