    Much better than paper plates but a lot more expensive.

    They are much tougher and more substantial than paper or card plates but significantly more expensive. I probably would get again, particularly when people are going to be wandering around and eating from their plates. But if they are needed just for something to put food on whilst on a flat surface, I won't be spending the money.
