    A good looking cover, and a good fit.

    This cover is an excellent fit except that I forgot that it needs felt underlay (also available from Brabantia) Once I'd got that I now have a lovely ironing surface

    Maybe I'm expecting too much.

    The last Brabantia ironing board cover I bought was probably about 4/5 years ago. I bought it at John Lewis for £9.50. I thought this one would be the same. It's a bit more money but everything goes up. However, the backing was really thin and when I took the old one off there was a big difference in the quality of the backing and the way it was sewn in to give a perfect shape and fit. I cut the backing out of the old one and put it under the new one to give a more padded surface and better fit. Maybe they don't do the better one now or perhaps I bought a different quality product and they are twice the price now. If you know what I'm talking about just be aware.

    Good fit.

    Needed a replacement cover for my Brabantia ironing board and this fits perfectly. Price seemed right but as far as the quality of the product is concerned, I was a little disappointed. It feels rather thin but as I've always used a thick, folded sheet on top of my board as extra padding, it doesn't really affect me.

    The best

    We get through a lot of ironing board covers and these are the best. The (sometimes) cheaper "universal" ones with the elasticated sides are rubbish compared to these which give you a nice smooth area for ironing on.
