Apart from, that the damage was larger to that shown in the photos on-line, the kettle supplied came from THREE different boxes, i.e.THREE DIFFERENT Serial Numbers!! I also made the comment to the Seller that I wondered what our local trading Standards Office would make of what had been supplied. His reation was to offer a return label so that I could obtain a re-fund. That was too late as the kettle was already in use elsewhere. At no time did I get any explanation or apology!!

Lightweight with great steaming facility.
After reading reviews about this iron, I was a bit concerned that the cord would be somewhat short. I checked on Russell Hobbs website where it listed the cord as being 2m so I ordered the iron. Unfortunately, the cord measures only 1.86m. The difference that this 14 cm makes is considerable in reaching from my plug socket. Other than this I am delighted with the iron as it steams very well which is what I required.After reading reviews about this iron, I was a bit concerned that the cord would be somewhat short. Lightweight but needs to have an independent steam facility not dependent on the temperature of the iron.
I wanted a steam iron but unless the iron is on its maximum setting I can’t use it as a steam iron. I can have a shot of steam if I keep this depressed but this is not a comfortable or efficient use of the iron.

Very pleased with my Russell Hobbs iron , it is very light weight and so easy to use . Easy to understand instructions , great value for money was quite a lot cheaper than electrical stores on the High Street , heats up very quickly makes very light work of the ironing . Arrived well packed and sooner than expected . I would recommend this Iron is one of the best I have had , and that is saying something as I have had a few irons in my time , I am a Senior Citizen .!!
