As was the case with North to Alaska, True Grit gave Wayne a rare opportunity to add some comedy spice to his acting. This is the story of a headstrong tomboy who hires Rooster to track down her father's killer - and insists on joining him on the dangerous journey. Shopping on ebay is brilliant, you can purchase absolutly anything at very competative prices. I`m a big john wayne fan and true grit is my favourite film.

Good Cowboy film.
Recently I watched the newer version of True Grit and was reminded of the John Wayne version I had seen some time ago. I wanted to revisit the John Wayne version so bought the DVD. Needless to say I was not disappointed.

dont fill your hands with this you son of a b*tch
a dated film that doesn't stand the test of time. although having a cult following the experience is not as great as the nostalgia, good decision to remake it as the new version is much grittier. not really an oscar winning performance but mr wayne did deserve recognition for his overall contribution to cinema
