Excellent set design - ALIEN IN ALL ITS GLORY
All of the ALIEN movies are absolutely excellent! From the first one where the egg is the main character to the "Octopus/Crab" like creature which incubates a creature (the Alien) in your chest. well!! what a wonderful thought... This Alien is so good to adapting to its surroundings and then it can even defend itself with acid for blood. Every moment of viewing these movies is captivating as you never know what is going to happen next. As you go through the various movies you are more astonished as what the writer had in his or her mind of what this Alien was planning. Not just to keep the life form but to even become the mother to lay eggs for a future generation. It even gets better near the end of the quadrilogy when the Alien tries to take on a human form. Saw the premiere of this in Leicester Square. I worked in the film business and my boss gave me two tickets - he wasn't interested. You could have heard a grain of sand drop when John Hurt had his 'episode' - and the gasp from the entire picture house when the wee baby alien came out - WOW! Unforgettable, forever....
