Just taken delivery of my beautiful new drum.
It's wonderful... great sound and an amazingly high-quality instrument.
Hugh is committed to community projects in Ghana, and it's good to know that this is a Fair Trade product helping support the livelihoods and heritage of Ghanaian musicians and craftspeople.
Now I just need to practice a LOT :)

Having bought 4 drums from this seller in the past, so I was very disappointed when they didn't arrange for a collection when they sent a different djembe from the ones advertised and then stopped communicating. Will not be buying from here or recommending to other drummers in the future.

item described as professional djembe drum and sold as seen , but it was no good to play as the skin was damaged and slack. I have donated it to a charity shop. Its heavy and I havent got time to faff with sending it back . dissappointed. I dont think it should have been offered for sale as a workable drum and certainly not professional even having been used, it should be sold as a workable instrument. the charity shop will assess it and no doubt sell to a kid or not sell at all.
