The play mat is made of polythene. It's a lovely village scene exactly as described with a road and train track in the pattern. It's for age 3+ because of suffocation risk, so I'll need to put it away until my grandson is a bit older. It could also be used as a table cloth for when he's doing artwork. For the price, I'm pleased with my purchase. Speedy delivery and good communication from seller too. Thankyou.

    Very portable car mat

    Perfect to take on holiday. Compact and light,bought it to take on aeroplane when visiting family abroad. Bright colours, compact, cheap. Not sure how long it will last, if used on a daily bases, but at this price I’m sure it will serve us well

    Play mat is such thin plastic that it is impossible to play with cars on it as demonstrated because it slips around and is really flimsy. Not what I expected but it is cheap and I guess I should have realised that it would not be fit for purpose.

    City roadway to fold up

    Bought for a two year old to create his roads on the lounge floor and it was an instant hit. Have stuck it onto card to stop it being rucked up by the car wheels and it will perform well until it is outgrown.

    Dont bother

    I read some of the reviews on this and they said it was a bit thin but wow this is literally the consistency of a chocolate bar wrapper, I know it didn't cost a lot but you may as well throw your money in the bin. Honestly just spend more on a better one
