An all time classic.
An enduring classic which showcases the special effects of Ray Harryhausen , the scene where Jason and his men battle the skeletons is one of the most iconic in cinema history and holds up very well when compared to the CGI effects of modern movies.

Very happy with the movie, it's a classic that will stand the test of time I am sure. Curious that there is no ordinary conclusion to it; Jason doesn't avenge his father's death at the hands of King Pelias, since Zeus has other plans for him (as also with Hercules). Possibly a sequel was envisioned at some point but never materialised. Anyway, a great movie and the special effects for 1960's tech is fantastic. Great acting too. Awesone!Very happy with the movie, it's a classic that will stand the test of time I am sure. Jason and the Argonauts was my my first ever ebay purchase.This film is simply a "must own classic", when i found it was for sale for me it was a no "brainer", just a few clicks and it was mine.Its a difficult film to track down outside the internet world, but the journey has been well worth it, not unlike Jasons own journey!Having watched this epic so many times,i never tire of it, its great for any age group and a real family film. For those out there who are unfamiliar with the story its about an explorer called Jason who must find a magical golden fleece before he can Stake his claim to the throne. Upon his amazing voyage Jason and his crew must overcome incredible obstacles including my favourite scene fighting an army of skeletons. The special effects are brilliant and light years ... Brilliant throwback
I loved this film as a kid in the 1970s (although it was over ten years old by then) and my kids love it now. The sword fight with the skeletons- once seen never forgotten! A piece of cinematic history.
