Item received very quickly. Well and securely packaged to avoid damage. Item is exactly as advertised - as noted, it has been refinished, but it is in fact a WWII-era M1 helmet, front seam on rim, swivel bale. (The half-strap is a later addition.) It's in very good condition with no major dents, dings, or scrapes and very few minor ones. All in all, a very satisfactory find especially at this price. Thanks!

Set of shadow box silk cameos on velvet mount are are gorgeous! More beautiful in person. Can't wait to hang them and show them off.
