I had a bad fall due to the solid connection, now supplied with my recently purchased new Apple lap top, and hurt myself quite badly, as I fell onto wooden floorboards. This charger is good quality and charges my iMac 2015 well. The only downside is the charger itself gets quite hot when charging. But other than that it works great at half the price of an apple store charger.
