The rod was poorly packaged and not labelled fragile. It was delivered broken. The seller took two days to reply to messages. When posted and sent confirmation I received a reply within an hour. Seller received the item via parcel force and says later I have still not received my refund. I would not recommend to ebayers. I am a long term user and this is poor and unsatisfactory.

Works a treat but could be made better
Make sure you get the newer version of this vice as the quality has improved. You can tell by making sure you get one with Faithfull embossed on the side like the pic. I sent one back as it was faulty and requested another of the new ones. I did not get it I got the older one back but it works I cant complain. The quality is ok but the vice and what it is capable of is worth the lack of quality. I absolutely love it! I would buy another one in a heart beat. My advise is to keep it well oiled, coat it with oil even... to stop it rusting. (Because it will) if your work shop is dry and never has much damp then you should be fine, mine is not, hence why I oil it.Make sure you get the newer version of this vice as the quality has improved. Faithfull vice
great heavy duty piece of kit , the only gripe is the swivel base, yes it does swivel but you cannot swivel a bit and lock it down, so its 180 degrees or nothing. Handle knob kept undoing so a little locktite sorted that and overall a good vice 8/10
