Accepted a best offer from the seller many hours prior to its expiration, and promptly paid.
Received a notification 5 minutes later that the order had been cancelled and I received a refund.
After contacting the seller to find out what happened, I was informed the item had been sold prior to my accepting the offer to someone else. Very disappointing to plan a purchase for a specific reason, only to find after you have ordered and paid, it was never in stock in the first place.

After nearly 4,000 positive feedback, it's unfortunate to get this feedback for something out of my control.
As explained to the buyer - a glitch with eBay meant the item didn't show as sold. He was given a full 100% refund within 5 mins of his purchase with an apology, as he acknowledges.
