Handy Grill
I like this panini/ health grill. I heats up quickly and has a large surface area that will comfortably fit 2 regular sized slices of bread side by side, if you want to do a toasted sandwich, we regularly do as it’s quick and very easy. We have grilled bacon on it which is ok but if you want it extra crispy it doesn’t do that. It still browns it and crisps the fat a little but it doesn’t cremate it, like my husband likes it 🙄 It has a very good non stick surface on it and most things just wipe off with a damp cloth. I found it easier to clean when it’s still warm but not hot. Be careful when opening it when hot. Make sure you lift using the black plastic at the front and not from the side. It would have been useful to have a handle on the top to lift it safely. Steaks were done well but ... I like this panini/ health grill. Make sure the drip tray underneath is sat properly when grilling anything with the potential to release liquids as you may find a pool of liquid under the grill on your work surface if it’s not fitted right. Overall I would recommend this if you like grilled food and are fed up of having to clean your usual oven gas or electric grill. This keeps all the fat splashes contained and is easily wiped off. It’s a good size for family meals and stands upright so is easily stored either in a cupboard or on your work surface without taking up too much room .
