It does what it says on the tin!
For home use this shredder is ideal. This type is preferential to a strip type as it spits out small bite size chunks and is therefore superior by type and secure in the knowledge that identity theft and sensitive material will be less prone in that regard. One aspect that owners should be aware of is that it gets hot and will cut out. This comes about if you feed A4 sheets of paper one after another in a non-stop fashion which I think is due to overheating and to protect the shredder motor. It's well constructed and very easy to set-up and operate. It does what it says on the tin and I have no reservations with respect to recommending this product.For home use this shredder is ideal. Its good value for the price but the working time compared to rhe resting time makes it a bit imoracticle..I guess for home use as it is intended it is fine,,I woulb buy a more powerful one if I had the choice again.

Overall excellent
This shredder is so much better than my old one. Its a good size, its sturdy and it cross cuts . It is a little noisy but that's no matter .... it shreds in no time. Added to which I bought it for a very good price so overall excellent and I can highly recommend it

An excellent product. I am very delighted with this shredder.
An excellent product. I purchased this to replace the exact same model I had been using for several years until it gave up the ghost. I purchased a Fellowes PowerShred P-30C 6 Sheet 15 Ltr Cross-Cut Shredder but had to return it to Argos as it was very substandard in comparison to the ProAction model. The Fellowes model used to stop after 3 minutes continuous use, and took 20 minutes to cool down. It also chewed up paper at one edge rather than shredding the paper. The Fellowes model was a lot quieter than the ProAction model and it could shred staples. But I am more than happy with this ProAction model, even though it was a re-furbished model. Still superior.
