Wonderful kit
A sophisticated bit of kit at a good price. Image quality up to Olympus standard with a wide range of options for making exposures. I bought it as a backup to my very recent OM-D E-M10Mk2 and the only feature I miss is focus bracketing. The weatherproof body is a great compensation. After years of hefty Canon kit, the OM-D is a joy to carry and use.

An Olympus classic. The immortal EM5
I have had lots of cameras, and every now and then one comes along that is just BOOM. The Olympus OMD-EM5 is superb. It is a mini marvel tank of a camera. It is easily one of my all time favourite cameras - actually prefered to most of the newer ones! It just feels right. And the two part extra grip is just amazing too. It really is lovelt little hunk of metal. Yes more modern cameras will have lots of new bells and whistles, but most 95% of users will never use them. This camera has what you need and it produces beatiful photos with a decent lens on it. A replacement for a much loved and used camera body
I more or less wore my original E-M5 body bought in 2011 out - this was a cost effective replacement. Lovely ergnomics and image quality. Best for those with small hands!. I now use the Oly pancake zoom and this combination makes this almost a carry anywhere pocket camera. Mainly use for landscapes and plant photography - not such a good camera for rapidly moving subjects such as flying birds or fast sports action. Excellent backup to my M1 mk3
Needed a back up camera to avoid constantly changing lenses and the M5 original , with a similar menu ,suited the bill. All my lenses fit, it is very light weight and simplicity to use. Also weather proof.

Not the best
The OM-D E-M5 is awkward to hold if you have big hands, and you are liable to accidentlyy press a button or control dial and accidently change settings. Exposure is a bit hit and miss sometimes. Picture quality is goodwith the 12-50mm lens. Overall the ergonomics and picture quality are way behind any Fuji X range camera.
