I had dropped our earlier one, which we had had for years, on the floor from a great height. It broke of course. I just knew we wouldn't be able to get another of the same quality. Everything these days seems to be a shadow of the quality of years gone by - from a handkerchief to a cooker. BUT WE DID GET AN EXACT REPLACEMENT! What a relief and a great surprise. A very simple but effective piece
I bought one of these to replace the more sophisticated but less effective lever type. The central "core" gets a lot more juice out of the fruit than the lever type, takes up less space, is easier to clean and is a lot cheaper!
