ok could be better
took some getting used to, would preferred to have been stainless steel , and not impressed with the fixing of the handle to blade ,I fitted 3 jubilee clips to the fixing to strengthen it for digging , but the long handle has certainly helped my back basically pleased despite my misgivings.,

Buy a different shovel
The quality and value are superb but get a different type of shovel from the same supplier. The delivery time was spot on and I can't fault the service. My fault for not looking at the picture more closely. This shovel is heavy and impossible to use as a shovel and no good as a digging spade either. I was looking for a shovel to replace my long handle American shovel. I've used the handle from this one to replace my broken one and I threw the Irish shovel head in the scrap. Not good enough.....
Trying to get hold of this company is a complete utter joke, I bought a Irish shovel long hand from them I've contacted them 4 times and still they haven't had the decency to reply. So No I would not recommend this company 🤬🤬
