    Great camera to learn with

    Exactly as expected. It's a great camera to learn with. Photography is a not-so-easy subject to grasp when it comes to DSLR camera's. However, with the low cost of this item you can relax and not worry about making mistakes or damaging equipment. It works well and maintains battery for a long time.

    Good camera - great to use.

    A good "average" camera. Good for developing your digital photography skills. Good ebay seller, too. He has probably moved on to a more sophisticated camera now, having learned a good deal from the 400D. Useful and usable features - and an easy camera to learn and develop on. Controls nice to use - screen is a good size. Battery life - after using a camera with AA batteries - is fantastic!

    Eos 400d

    As a complete novice, i was unwilling to pay 3 to 4 hundred pounds for an entry level camera. This 400d was a perfect, relatively cheap starter camera. Like all DSLR's, it has an auto mode for point and shoot but it also has manual modes for when you get more adventurous/experienced. All in all a decent buy.

    Super Canon Camera Systems at outstanding prices from e bay.

    We live in both the UK and in South Africa and are regular visitors to the Kruger Park and other Game Reserves. We don't have ebay in South Africa so when we come to the UK for a few weeks we always have a list of purchases to make. I bought a Canon Digital SLR kit based around the EOS 400D from e bay last year and was so impressed that my wife bought one this year. Although normal digital cameras are fine for most photography the delay between focus and taking the picture means that a lot of wildlife images are lost. Digital SLR,s get around this problem and the versatility of the Canon lens systems mean that spectacular wildlife photos can be captured. Both of our camera systems were bought from ebay and are excellent value for money. Ebay saves us many hundreds of pounds every year ...

    Canon EOS 400D

    I have just recently bought my first Canon EOS camera. I always had a very good opinion of canon but when I saw and held the Canon EOS 400D I was so much more impressed. It is a excellent semi-pro (which in my opinion is a bit diminishing) SLR digital camera. The 3 inch screen on the back of the Canon is a fantastic feature allowing you to see pictures very clearly and thoroughly. The feeling the camera gives you when you start taking pictures is indescribable. With its very reasonable price and all its amazing features I would recommend this camera to anybody who is willing to go a level higher then digital cameras and want to buy a good camera without spending a lot and a lot.
