Very Presentable Blue Jug & Highly Recommended.
I have been using Brita Water Filter Jugs for many years . All family members like it. This new purchase is a replacement for my old Brita Jug, which is proof that I was happy with the old one. The new one looks more presentable in the Blue Colour, the filtered water does taste better, and I highly recommend this product.

No opening in lid. Capacity probably total jug size - not filtered water size
Genuine Brita water filter jug as advertised.. Biggest disappointment was flap or opening in lid was missing - so whole lid needs to be removed every time you need to refill the jug! I think the larger size has a flap that opens for refilling. Almost bought the larger size but thought this one, described as 2.4 litres was big enough - I think this is the total jug capacity not how much water gets filtered each time. Good Solution to save on plastic waste
Very well familiarised with this type of product. A bit expensive versus other related products which also contain a filter reserve (1 +1), therefore next time I will look for better deals. Otherwise is advisible to use a filter mug to save on plastic waste and carrying water from a shop.

Needed a new jug and cartridges
I had been using, for a long time, an "old" Britta jug which took "long" cartridges which seem to have been discontinued. So I had to change to this new type of jug and cartridges. It is excellent but disappointed that I had to get a new jug.

OK it does the job, but NOT an improvement on the larger model, even tho' it fits in the fridge.
It is what it is, but a bit of a disappointment after the previous, larger jug. You have to remove the top lid every refill, where the larger one has a filling hole with a lid. Works OK, but the blue insert isn't an exact fit, so has to be checked each fill. Otherwise it can slip a little and the top lid doesn't seat properly, then the whole lot can come off as you pour!
