    Small, but a mighty punch!

    This little card reader doesn't appear to be much, but does a superb job very simply. Used it to read and then format a compact flash card in a matter of minutes. Once it is re-used, the reading speed is more than enough to cope with a substantial storehouse of data. Definitely worth buying if you are planning to have several compact flashes of inspiration!

    Looking to use it for Winuae and cf card amiga transfers you will be disappointed .OTherwise its a good tool

    This device is all good for pc & Mac file transfers HOWEVER Those of you that are looking to utilize this for amiga files via a cf card will not have any luck i am afraid. You cannot use hd tools to set up the card because of the hardware it uses , at least with the cards i used it did not work correctly.

    Transfer and security

    All my computers have an SD slot but unlike those of a few years ago no CF card slot Also use with adapter to back photos up to my phone whilst travelling just in case my camera is lost or stolen. An easy and cheap way to reduce the risk of loosing irreplaceable snaps.

    Perfect companion?

    I needed a reader for my CF cards as when away from home I carry my laptop which only has USB connections. This integral reader seemed like the perfect solution. Gladly I can report that indeed it is, it works perfectly and is small enough to slip into my laptop bag.

    Affordable Integral CF Memory Card Reader

    Not a speed daemon but usable as a portable means of transferring images from camera to Laptop. With small files from older cameras the transfer speed should not an issue. The outer shell is mainly plastic and may not take abuse but is fine for general handling. So far it has worked with no issues. If needing a CF card for heavy use as a professional in the field you would be better looking at a faster, tough device. Otherwise this should be good for a few years service. Not much else to say.
